Attention and informational abundance in new ways of working and digital environment.

Context & brief
Today, there is a multiplication of connected objects and services, and at the same time, a multiplication of informationals solicitations and notifications. This is reflected in new and future way of working, especially among self-employed workers. This abundance of information and daily demands confronted these new workers to a form of dispersion, zapping, multitasking. There is loss of concentration, lack of quality in work, efficiency, densification of tasks, decreased time… Faced to this observation, individuals develop new management skills such as self-regulation or disconnection tactics. However these techniques prove to be complicated to maintain over the long term and doesn’t seem to be a viable answer in this context. These tactics developed today are not enough question the conception of interface adapted to the property of the human attention, resource of which we dispose in finite quantity.

This subject will be my end of study project around the problematic, « The reappropriation of our attention in new ways of working and digital environment ».
